According to www.healthline.com, 12 of the foods that are considered to be healthy and nutrient dense: eggs, greek yogurt, coffee (not so much for the kiddos), oatmeal, chia seeds, berries, nuts, green tea, protein shake, fruit, flaxseeds, and cottage cheese. While this is not a complete list, studies such as the one just below give excellent advice about helping children obtain foods that are nutritious and could impact their ability to learn. Essentially, while it is important 'to eat' it is more important to ensure that the food consumed is nutrient dense.
