The Children are Watching and Listening

As a young girl, I watched the evening news with my grandmother every day.  On Friday nights, if I was able to, I stay awake long enough to watch Nightline.  I enjoyed watching 60 Minutes on Sundays, and today, my news watching habits are quite similar.  The only difference is that now, my children watch similar shows with me.  But, should they?  Our children are experiencing American politics in the worst way, or will they be impressed with the cyberbullying, profane language, and lack of ability to self-control.  Our children do not need to be a part of the system, as it exists.
